Misty Monday ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Nalu - water tracker mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.

1. Data Collection and Use

We prioritize your privacy and collect minimal data to provide our service.

First Seen Date

To provide a 3-week free trial of our premium features, we collect the "First Seen" date when you first launch the app. This date is used solely to determine your trial eligibility.

Age

On first launch, the App asks for your age. Your age is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us. It is used solely to personalize your daily hydration goals and to configure age-appropriate advertising settings (for example, treating users under the applicable age of consent accordingly).

Personal Data

The App does not require a user account. However, we use a unique App ID (displayed in the App's "About" box) to identify your installation. This App ID is used for:

• Managing your subscription and lifetime access through RevenueCat.
• Identifying your data in our internal systems for support and refund requests.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following services to facilitate the App:

Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. We do not share your App ID with Google AdMob. Instead, AdMob uses device-level identifiers (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) to show you relevant ads and measure their effectiveness. You can manage or delete this advertising data directly through your device's privacy settings.

In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage premium access. RevenueCat processes transaction data and tracks the "First Seen" date mentioned above to manage your trial and lifetime access.

3. Children's Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. When you first open the App, it asks for your age so we can apply age-appropriate settings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Union). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

4. Data Retention

We keep the limited data we collect only for as long as it is needed to provide the App's features:

• App ID and First Seen date: retained by us and RevenueCat for as long as you use the App, so we can manage your trial, subscription, and lifetime access. If you uninstall the App and do not restore your purchase, this data becomes inactive and is periodically purged.
• Your water-intake logs and app settings: stored only locally on your device. We do not keep a copy on our servers. This data is permanently removed when you delete the App or clear its storage.
• Advertising identifiers: not stored by us. They are controlled by Google and your device, and their retention is governed by your device's privacy settings.

You can request deletion of the data held by us and RevenueCat at any time through our Data Deletion Request page. Following a verified request, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

5. GDPR Compliance (EEA Users)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have data protection rights under the GDPR. We process your data based on our legitimate interest in managing trials and serving ads to support the free version of the App. You can request the deletion of your data at any time through our Data Deletion Request page.
